Trump’s Inauguration and Release of Hostages All Converging in a Week of Breakthroughs and Suddenlies

What a week! Watchmen on the walls are energized by everything that has been happening prophetically!

The Inauguration. The brave Executive Orders. The shift in the atmosphere. The release of hostages with the hope of more to come.

We are praising God yet at the same time intercessors are constantly doing damage control in the Spirit according to Isaiah 54: 17 because the powers of darkness are furious and know Satan’s time is short.

Everything good, everything biblical is being continually contested.

Concerning Trump’s miraculous comeback…..how wonderful, as Rev. Franklin Graham so aptly stated in his Inaugural prayer of invocation, “Look what God has done!”

Yet we mustn’t be lulled into believing that Trump’s second Administration will be the beginning of a Golden Age, unless this present time is indeed the dawn before the Second Coming of Jesus and the Millennium.

While Trump’s triumph may give us a breather and a little more time, still the Golden Age on the horizon can only be the Millennium because the Bible predicts an apostasy for the Last Days when “evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse.” (2 Timothy 3: 13)

The return of Trump is one of God’s extended mercies to a troubled world. The “Trump Effect” will influence more nations to raise up conservative leaders who believe in borders, free speech, religious freedom and national sovereignty.

One of the many evidences that God has raised up Trump for such a time as this is the preservation of his health despite extreme opposition, lawfare and treachery. The sheer energy he is exhibiting for a 78-year-old man is a sign and a wonder.

God works of course through weather, and moving the Inauguration inside the Capitol Rotunda was I believe a God thing.

About the ceremony itself, I was happy to hear the hymn “Great is Thy Faithfulness” being played as people were being seated.

Many have expressed alarm about not seeing Trump’s hand on the Bibles, but Justice Roberts rushed the oath; he did not give Melania and the rest of the family ample time to surround Trump. The oath was already in progress before Melania could step up with the Bibles. Roberts should have been more accommodating to Melania and the family, and no doubt Trump was anxious and eager to repeat the words. Interesting that Roberts gave ample time for Vance’s family to surround the V-P.

Placing a hand on the Bible during the presidential oath is a tradition, but it is not legally necessary for the oath to be valid. Furthermore, it is obvious that Trump had intended to do so, thus the presence of two Bibles–both the Lincoln Bible and Trump’s mother’s Bible from the Hebrides Revival.

Do take time to watch this fascinating video about the Trump Bible from Scotland:

The-hand-on-Bible issue is yet another instance in which the “Get Trump” people will unfortunately nitpick.

[Screenshot The Jerusalem Post]   Amazingly, during the festivities of the Inaugural parade at the Capital One Arena, Trump honored the Israeli hostages by inviting their families to participate. This gesture recognized the plight of the hostages who were brutally kidnapped by Hamas. Trump shook hands with each family member and a former hostage, acknowledging their ordeal. This act was seen as a powerful statement of solidarity with Israel. The hostage families said words could not express their gratitude for such a magnanimous gesture during the festivities, marching bands, etc.

On Day One Trump signed stacks of Executive Orders, many of which benefited Israel, and he was not daunted. He was bold as a lion.

Among Trump’s Day One Executive Orders Relating to Israel:

—Revoking Sanctions on Israeli Settlers: On his first day in office, Trump revoked an executive order by Joe Biden that imposed sanctions on certain Israeli settlers in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank). This action was part of a broader set of executive orders aimed at reversing Biden’s policies.

—Restoring Sanctions on the International Criminal Court (ICC): Trump reinstated sanctions against the ICC, which had been prosecuting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

— Defunding the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), which supposedly supports Palestinian refugees but has been involved in terrorism and antisemitism.

— Trump authorized the deportation of visa holders who support hateful ideologies, terrorism, or national security threats, such as individuals involved in pro-Hamas protests, riots or fundraising efforts. [Trump has been involved for some time in combatting Anti-Semitism on college campuses: In December 2019, Trump signed an executive order aimed at combating anti-Semitism on college campuses. This order expanded the interpretation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act to include anti-Semitism, potentially affecting criticism of Israel by equating certain forms of anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism.]

— The Administration lifted restrictions on arms sales to Israel to reaffirm U.S. support for Israel’s defense.

These actions reflect Trump’s policy of supporting Israel, which aligns with his administration’s historical approach during his first term, characterized by recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, and supporting the Abraham Accords to normalize relations between Israel and its Arab neighbors.

We pray that Trump will be surrounded by the right advisors and that Israel will not be harmed because of Genesis 12: 3 which promises a blessing to those who bless Israel but cursing to any who lightly esteem the Jewish people.

Pray daily for wisdom and Isaiah 54:17 for Trump and his family, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment thou shalt condemn.”

A case in point was the verbal assault the President endured at the National Cathedral on his first full working day in Trump 2.0 The President and members of his family, as well as the Vances, dutifully attended a national day of prayer in the cathedral but the agenda was driven by woke-ism. According to a quote by Rev. Franklin Graham in a podcast, the beautiful Washington Cathedral has fallen into the hands of the LGBT+ camp. A well- documented Trump-hating clergywoman somehow was given the opportunity to speak, but she used this valuable time to look down upon the President and to lecture him directly with a political diatribe. She pontificated on transgender fears and begged for mercy for illegal immigrants, not displaying any constitutional understanding of how immigration should be a legal process. The reports were cringeworthy, and now the woman is making an appearance, naturally, on “The View.”

Fr. Calvin Robinson wrote on X, “The ‘bishop’ at the National Prayer Service missed a huge opportunity. She could have proclaimed the Gospel. Instead, she chose to lecture on her radical extremist politics. If we followed the Scriptures, we would not be in the mess we are in right now.”

Let us pray that Trump’s trusted advisors will warn him against dividing the land (Lev. 25:23; Joel. 3:1-2), or treating Israel as if it were just like any other nation (Deut. 7:6-8).

In prayer may we encourage American and Israeli leaders to be like the midwives in the Torah portion who feared God more than man. May we never do anything against God’s will! Amen and Maranatha!
