After such a day of joy and victory in Jerusalem, it is shocking to consider how many years it took for an American president to do an elementary thing like recognizing the capital of a sovereign nation, while the capitals of enemies are recognized without question.

Throughout the night I prayed for the Arab people to be visited and compensated with the spirit of revelation and hope and consolation to have the grace and moral strength to move on from the “catastrophe” that they celebrate today on Nakba Day.

Was the Independence of Israel a catastrophe to the Arabs that was equal in measure to the Holocaust?

Can the fulfilment of Bible prophecy toward redemption in the Last Days ultimately be a catastrophe?

No.

The only Jewish state of our times was prophesied repeatedly to be a reality by the Bible. After nearly 2,000 years, God’s timetable said it was time for the Jews to regain their homeland.

Now we pray for their half brothers, the Arabs, to have the grace and wisdom to accept reality, to move on toward genuine peace and reconciliation.

Deadly violence at the Gaza border during the American Embassy dedication was a deliberate and callous sacrifice of lives. Yet the Jews have the duty to defend themselves against violent provocations. Why is this so hard to understand?

Grace, Grace, Grace to the people today who are deeply miserable. Many who have been labelled Palestinians are in fact genetically Jews, but they were hijacked by Islam.

Grace, Grace, Grace. Lord, we implore you to pour out the spirit of revelation on Gaza and Hamas and to all haters of Zion to come to terms with the God of Israel.

The Bible verse that I prayed in the night is Jesus speaking to Saul (who became the Apostle Paul) in Acts 26: 14,

“I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.”

A modern translation of that verse is, “It is useless for you to fight against my will.”

Acts 26: 14 described Saul’s wasted effort of persecuting Christians in his day, but the principle applies in our day to anybody who fights the will of God Almighty. The Arabs believe they are fighting for their god, but the God of Israel says to them:

“It is useless for you to fight against my will. I have purposed to bring back my Jewish people to My Land. I am angry with the nations for partitioning my Land. Make room for My people after their millennia of suffering. I will take care of you also. Cain was angry, jealous and downcast over Abel’s offering [Genesis 4: 7] but I said ‘You will be accepted if you do what is right. But if you refuse to do what is right, then watch out! Sin is crouching at the door, eager to control you. But you must subdue it and be its master.’ Ultimately My will is never a catastrophe. But all things do work together for good for those who truly love God and who are called to fulfil My will.”

Therefore we pray Grace, Grace, Grace, and we prophesy– Be Still– to all enemies of God in the name of the Prince of Peace, Jesus!
