Donald J. Trump has won a clear victory and mandate from the American people, which includes many campaign promises to stand with Israel and to move the US Embassy to the capital Jerusalem!

Following UNESCO’s denial of Jewish ties to Jerusalem’s Temple Mount and Western Wall, the people of Israel are hopeful that a Trump presidency will provide a real opportunity to set the record straight about Jerusalem. Trump has promised to “move the American embassy to the eternal capital of the Jewish people, Jerusalem.”

Trump’s pledge to “send a clear signal that there is no daylight between America and our most reliable ally, the state of Israel,” is most welcome news.

Despite many media character assassinations to paint Trump as a bigot and anti-Semite, Trump’s family is assimilated with the Jewish people.

Trump’s Jewish daughter Ivanka, and her husband Jared Kushner, visited the grave of the influential Lubavitcher Rebbe prior to Election Day. Thousands of Jews visit his grave site every year to pray for blessings. Many among the Orthodox community already support Trump.

In his victory speech, Vice President-elect Governor Mike Pence said, “Thanks be to God for His amazing Grace.”

Prime Minister Netanyahu congratulated President-elect Trump by telephone and told him that the United States has no better ally than Israel. The two leaders, who have known each other for many years, had a warm and heartfelt conversation and Trump invited Prime Minister Netanyahu to a meeting in the United States “at the first opportunity.”

The Trump campaign has promised to respond harshly to the UN’s outrageous behavior towards Israel, and to investigate anti-Israel hate groups on campus.

The Jerusalem Post reported that after congratulating President-elect Trump, Bayit Yehudi chairman Naftali Bennett, who is also Israel’s Education Minister, stated that “the era of a Palestinian state is over.”

“Trump’s victory is an opportunity for Israel to immediately retract the notion of a Palestinian state in the center of the country, which would hurt our security and just cause,” Bennett said. “This is the position of the President-elect, as written in his platform, and it should be our policy, plain and simple.”

Likud MK Yehuda Glick, who miraculously survived an assassination attempt because of his loyalty to the Temple Mount, congratulated the Republican candidate on his remarkable victory in Tuesday’s election. Glick said in the Knesset today, “It appears that the American people are tired of hypocrisy and political correctness and prefer straight talk.”

Not one to shrink from controversy, Glick even expressed a lofty hope that Trump would “ascend the Temple Mount and lead from the source of light and energy a dialogue of world reconciliation and peace.”

The Likud MK also invited Trump to “visit Israel and Judea and Samaria to see for himself.”

Zionist Union co-leader Tzipi Livni tweeted, “Congratulations @realDonaldTrump. I hope for the US and the world that he actualize the promises of his acceptance speech, not the campaign.”

Calling Trump’s stunning election a “leadership tsunami,” Zionist Union chairman Isaac Herzog described the Trump campaign as “a global trend of disgust with the old, power elite and the desire for swift and direct change.”

PA President Mahmood Abbas congratulated Trump, urging him to pursue a peace deal and to seek a two-state solution.

In his victory speech, Pence said, “The American people have spoken and the American people have elected their new champion.” Trump said he wants to heal wounds of division and will work with cooperative nations.

Intercessors, the church in America has been given a reprieve by God for us to wake up, get back to the Bible and do the ongoing works of the Lord!

Jan Willem van der Hoeven, Director of the International Christian Zionist Centre, sent out an email suggesting that Donald Trump be like a modern-day “Jehu” from the Bible whom God will use to destroy much of the corruption that has been the hallmark of the Obama-Clinton administrations in America and thus “drain the swamp.”

Van der Hoeven added,  “Trump will also become a great, great friend of Israel, a modern day Cyrus who was God’s anointed one to help and back Israel in days past even to build the temple unto the Lord in Jerusalem. As God’s word in chapter 45 in Isaiah so clearly indicates. . . .This then is truly amazing as Donald Trump will be himself the 45th President sworn in on his seventieth year, the seventh month of his year and the seventh day when he will take the oath of office on the 20th of January 2017!”

PRAYER ALERT from Jay Sekulow’s American Centre for Law and Justice:

“Today begins President Obama’s 73 most dangerous days.

“The election is over, but President Obama remains in office. He reportedly still has a ‘huge agenda.’

“He is plotting to abandon Israel, take numerous unconstitutional Executive actions, and undermine the law.

“We will not back down from fighting the insidious corruption.

“We have defeated his lawlessness before – including unanimously at the Supreme Court – but now, in his final days, he is preparing to ramp up his lawless actions.”
