1. Praise: Shabbat’s prophetic portion includes the Davidic Covenant (2 Sam. 7:1-17). Today we see that Yeshua is King David’s greater Son, the One who sits on David’s throne ruling from Zion.

    • He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His father David:Luke 1:32

    • Therefore [David] being a prophet, knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Messiah to sit on his throne;Acts 2:30

    • Lord, like the blind men calling out to You, Son of David, have mercy on us (Matt. 9:27), we too ask for daily mercies and thank You for all You have already given us (Lam. 3:22-23).
    • We confess that You are both the Son of David, and are also David’s Lord (Matt. 22:41-45).
    • We praise You as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords – the Lord of all (Acts 10:36; Rev. 19:16).
    • Thank You that although we only see in part, You see everything all at once – because You dwell outside of time – in eternity (1 Cor. 13:12; Rev. 22:13).
    • Bless You that Israel’s government is ultimately on Your shoulders (Prov. 21:1; Isa. 9:6-7).
    • Abba, we are so grateful that at the moment of salvation, You transferred us from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of Your Son (Col. 1:13).
    • With all the blasphemies in the world’s democracies today, we are so thankful that we are destined to live in a kingdom ruled over by a Righteous King, the Lord Yeshua (Psa. 103:19; Isa. 33:22)!
    • What a joy to live today and see You watching over Your Word to perform it so openly (Jer. 1:12).
    • Praise You for all the great and precious promises You have made to us and to Israel (Jer. 31:35-37).

  2. President Rivlin asked Israeli PM Bibi Netanyahu to form the next government. Bibi’s Likud party received by far the most seats and so this was the right thing to do. We are asking God to direct all the negotiations so that His government for Israel at this time in history will be established.
    • Lord, this repeated failure of trying to form a decent Israeli government has us frustrated and upset, yet we trust You to lead us in prayer (Psa. 61:1-2; Amos 3:7).
    • From Shabbat’s Torah portion: Moses said to Aaron, this is what YHWH had said, “I will be sanctified in them that come near Me, and before all the people I will be glorified.” (Lev. 10:3).
    • Continue, Lord, to remove all those politicians in whom You cannot be sanctified (Isa. 1:25-26).
    • Grant that in this whole process of forming a government You may be sanctified in Your nation and Your name may be glorified before all the other nations (Psa. 115:1-3).
    • Abba, we again ask You to bring order out of the chaotic political Israeli scene (Isa. 45:18).
    • Bring a quick end to the negotiations so that Israel can rejoice before You (2 Chr. 29:36).
    • Raise up Knesset [parliament] members who care for Your land and Your people (Neh. 1:1-11).
    • Change politicians’ priorities from being ambitious to being shepherds for Your people (Jer. 23:3-4).
    • Lord, order it that Your chosen person for this time will be Israel’s next prime minister (Dan. 2:21).
    • Heal all the right-wing politicians who have a biblical vision for Israel from all the various offenses and hurt egos that they harbor, and allow them to work together.
    • Place Your fear in their hearts to do Your will and not their own (Deut. 10:12; 1 Sam. 12:24).
    • Move on Gideon Sa’ar to die to his ego and hatred of Netanyahu for the sake of Israel (1 Sam. 24:6).
    • Move on Naftali Bennett to also die to his ego and serve for Israel’s sake (Prov. 29:23; 1 Pet. 5:5)
    • Forbid an Israeli government which depends on anti-Zionist – Arab or Jewish – parties to be formed.
    • Forbid anyone in the next government that would hinder the IDF from protecting Israel (Psa. 44:4).
    • Give to Israel ministers that love Your land and are willing to extend Israeli sovereignty over Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley regardless of how upset this makes the nations (Jer. 33:9).
  3. Bibi Netanyahu: Besides receiving a mandate to form the government, his corruption trial also began this past week. The media headlines are slanted according to whether the news site or newspaper is pro-Bibi or anti-Bibi, as are most of Israel’s media.
    • Save Bibi; reveal to him Israel’s King and its real Ruler, Messiah Yeshua (Psa. 106:4; Jer. 31:7).
    • We thank You for all that Netanyahu has done for this nation up to now (2 Chr. 6:42).
    • According to Your will, continue to use and strengthen him – or remove him (Psa. 75:6-7).
    • Humble him before You and give him grace for his political opponents (2 Chr. 32:26; Prov. 29:23).
    • Help Netanyahu so that his trial does not negatively impact all his other responsibilities.
    • Grant discernment to the public as they listen to and read Israel’s media (Mal. 3:18).
    • Concerning Bibi’s trial, let justice prevail. (Isaiah 59:14-16)
  4. The current government is still dealing with very serious threats. The International Criminal Court, which has no legal jurisdiction over Israel, has decided to investigate it for war crimes over the IDF’s defense of Israel against Hamas. More blasphemously, it is also seeing if Israel’s settlements in Judea and Samaria can also be labeled as war crimes. Just last night it was decided that a letter would be sent to the ICC and this appears to be an answer to our prayers.
    • Thank You for guiding Israel in her response (Psa. 82:1-2, 8).
    • We bless You for Bibi’s boldness in telling the ICC that they have no jurisdiction over Israel, that Israel “completely rejects” its accusations of war crimes and that it has its own justice system that can handle, as it has in the past, all cases of possible “war-crimes” committed by its soldiers (Isa. 54:17).
    • Hedge in the ICC in their investigation against Israel if they continue to pursue it (Num. 24:9b).
    • Arise against this blasphemous attack against Your Word and will being fulfilled today (Psa. 17:13).
    • Shield all of Israel’s settlements from any international onslaught (Psa. 121:4).
    • What the enemy means for evil, Lord please turn it into blessings (Deut. 23:5; Zeph. 3:15).
    • As this case was instigated by the Palestinian Authority, breaking their legal commitments in the Oslo Accords, let Israel use this to break all its commitments to Oslo as well!
    • In general, show the current government what they need to deal with and what is supposed to be left for the next government to deal with (1 Kin. 8:18-19).

    Then there is the US Biden Administration which, as expected, is quickly turning into a stumbling stone in Israel’s path to fulfill all that God is calling it to do at this time. On the other hand, is this God’s way of cutting Israel off from looking to America as opposed to looking to Him and His way of removing the US from being the world’s superpower so that end time events unfold more quickly?

    • Lord, deal with Biden and his cohorts who call evil good and good evil in relation to Israel’s restoration on the land You promised to it over 200 times in Your Word (Isa. 5:20-23; Jer. 32:41).
    • Show Israel’s current and future leaders how to deal with the American administration’s unbiblical attitudes and demands on Your nation (Num. 23:23; Isa. 50:7).
    • Use the Biden administration and that part of the Democratic Party which has an anti-Zionist attitude towards Israel to sever all ungodly ties between Israel and the US (Psa. 56:11; 146:3-6).
    • Make Israel’s US Ambassador, Gilad Erdan, fearless of man and zealous for truth (Prov. 13:17).
    • Do not let the Trump-election loss and/or the corona-virus battle blind American believers from the Bible’s redline issue for their nation – America’s dealings with Israel (Isa. 60:12).
    • Let words of warnings on this from American prophets be declared from the rooftops (Jer. 23:28).
    • May Israel’s rejection of Biden’s actions in trying to rejoin the Iran nuclear deal and his reinforcing of the Palestinian Authority be made in total unity by all Israelis (Ex. 24:3; 2 Chr. 3:13-14).
  5. Iran: Israel attacked an Iranian spy ship that was sitting near the mouth of the Red Sea for over three years. Usually Israel keeps its attacks under wraps, but it let the US know and then the US went public with it – which is not the action of a true ally, but is very similar to what the Obama administration used to do! Also, it has been reported that the US is willing to trash all sanctions against Iran to rejoin the nuclear deal. Based on this, this past week on Holocaust Remembrance Day, Netanyahu openly warned the world that Israel will not be obligated to any deal that leaves Iran with an option to develop nuclear weapons.
    • Lord, teach Israel to be more careful about intelligence it shares with America today (Isa. 39:1-7).
    • Download You strategies and tactics to Israel if the US reenters the Iranian agreement (Prov. 21:31).
    • Bless Israel with accurate actionable intelligence – so that it can make decisions regarding Iran and her proxies without depending on anyone else (2 Chr. 14:11; Job 12:22).
    • Guard all Israel’s intelligence sources and uncover any plans Israel is not aware of (Psa. 121:3-4).
    • Help build up Israel’s cyberwarfare capabilities (Isa. 44:7-8).
    • Prepare Israel for the Iranian response to this naval attack (Isa. 41:10-16).
    • If this war-between-the-wars between Israel and Iran is Your way of drawing Iran into Your trap, lead us to pray in support of this and show us also Your timing (Mic. 4:11-13).
    • Enable Israel to think outside the box when devising strategy and to trust in You (Josh. 5:13-6:6).
    • Continue to strengthen Israel as it reinforces its red lines against Iran – in Syria, in Lebanon, in Gaza, on the sea, or wherever Iran and its proxies are plotting evil (Ezek. 37:10).
    • We ask for Your direct, miraculous intervention against Iran and her proxies (Jer. 31:10).
    • Send massive confusion into the minds of all of Iran’s anti-Semitic leaders (Gen. 12:3a; Psa. 71:13).
    • Dry up all of Iran’s funds, including from this huge deal just signed with China (Jam. 5:1-3).
    • Use the Iranian Church to help bring down Iran’s demonic regime (Jer. 49:38; Amos 3:6-7).
    • Over Ramadan, which starts next week, may the Iranian church double in size (1 Cor. 3:6).
    • Cast out from all Iranian believers all spirits of anti-Semitism and/or anti-Zionism (Matt. 8:16).
  6. The failed two-state land-for-peace “peace-process” is again being pushed by Biden and his people. Yet it is insane to think that a solution that has not worked for the last 100 plus years will all of a sudden work now, especially as the Palestinian Authority [PA] and Hamas practice overt child abuse by training children to wage holy war, and brainwashing them to hate Israel and all Jews.
    • Lord, we ask that this non-peace “peace plan” would never be resurrected (Job 7:9; Psa. 31:19).
    • As Your prophetic Word does not include another nation on Your land, may Your will be done on the land You promised to Israel, as Your will is done in heaven (Lev. 25:23; Psa. 10:16; Matt. 6:10).
    • Let the American Church openly warn Biden against aiming for a two state solution (Joel 3:1-2).
    • Cut off all funds from the nations to the PA that they use to pay terrorists in prison or their families or are used for illegal building in Area C – which is what the EU constantly does (Isa. 14:29-32).
    • If Palestinian elections in May are Your will, let them happen; otherwise cancel them (Psa. 33:10).
    • PA President Abbas is old and ill; remove him in Your timing and in Your way (Dan. 4:17).
    • Prepare Israel to know how to deal with what transpires after Abbas is gone (Psa. 44:5).
    • Guard, mature and use Palestinian Christians as salt and light in their communities (Matt. 5:13-16).
    • Lord, over Ramadan reveal Yourself to multitudes of Palestinians (Acts 9:4-6), and use these new Palestinian brothers and sisters to provoke many Israelis to jealousy (Rom. 11:11).
  7. Aliyah & salvation are linked in Scripture as we read in the Tanach that when all Israel is saved as a nation, it is after the scattered Jews are regathered (Ezek. 36:24-28; Zech. 12:2-10).
    • Abba, make this a major priority for the next Israeli government (Isa. 62:10).
    • Close the doors for Jews in exile and open wide the doors in Israel (Jer. 50:4-5).
    • Multiply the believers who are aiding the aliyah in many different ways (Isa. 49:22).
    • Lord, we need You to create affordable housing in Your land (Jer. 32:42-44).
    • May housing and transportation to be readily available so that many of the new immigrants can settle in other areas in Your land – and not just in the main cities (Jer. 33:12-14; Obad. 1:19-20).
    • As Israel just observed Holocaust Memorial Day, we ask that many survivors would come home (Jer. 31:8-9), and for those who are home that You, Lord Yeshua, would come to them (Isa. 61:1-3).
    • Wake up all the Jews living in the West to smell the stink of rising Jew-hatred and to make the right decision for them and their families to return home quickly (Jer. 16:16).
    • Bring home all Israelis who are now living in the nations (Jer. 33:10-11).
    • Show Messianic Jews in exile that they are singing Your song in a foreign land (Psa. 137:4-6).
  8. Body of Messiah: In Shabbat’s prophetic portion, Uzzah is struck down by God when trying to help steady the Ark of the Covenant (2 Sam. 6:3-7). The Ark had stayed in his father’s house for a long time (1 Sam. 7:2). Was his problem overfamiliarity with God? Is that a problem with some of us today? Do we also think God needs our help, when He allows us to help Him so that we can grow, but He does not in any real sense need us to accomplish His will? Is there a lack of the fear of God in many of our congregations and our hearts? [“Fear” in the Hebrew is both “awe” and “fear”.]
    • Please Lord, place a biblical fear of You in the lives of all who call on Your name. Teach me Your way YHWH; I will walk in Your truth. Unite my heart to fear Your name. (Psa. 86:11)
    • Thank You for Your promise that salvation is near them that fear You so that glory may dwell in Your land (Psa. 85:9)!
    • We need Your wisdom, so grace us with Your fear in our minds (Psa. 111:10; Prov. 1:7; 9:10).
    • May we never take our relationship with You for granted (1 John 3:1-2).
    • As You have told us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling, please teach us what that really means (Phil. 2:12-13).
    • We rejoice in the reality that Your church is not a democracy, but a Kingdom (Matt. 8:11), and that You are not our President or Prime Minister – but our King, our Lord and our God (John 20:28).
