“. . . God will send them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie.” (2 Thessalonians 2:11)
“So God will make sure they are fooled into believing a lie.” (CEV)
With the abundance of political news, you may have missed the hearing in Congress this week on Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs), specifically termed as Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs).
The hearing discussed the alleged existence of UAPs and possibly the government’s possession of non-human technology.
Discussions were centered around transparency and the potential implications for national security. The hearing was titled “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Exposing the Truth.”
Former government employees and a journalist shared their views on the government’s secrecy regarding UAPs.
A lot of comments on X went like this: “the government wasted your tax dollars yesterday with a two-hour hearing on space aliens.”
The most likely Biblical truth is that these phenomena are not from other planets but are hyper dimensional—and demonic.
We don’t yet know what THE big lie will be in the future, a powerful delusion sent by God on a rebellious world, but one speculation is that after the Rapture of the Church THE lie will be that believers were abducted by aliens and UAPs.
A number of Christian authors have explored the idea that UFOs and/or alien abductions could be an explanation for the Rapture event described in Christian eschatology:
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” (1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17)
Here are some authors who have discussed this theme:
- Chuck Missler – Known for his teachings on biblical prophecy, in his video presentations the late Church Missler discussed the possibility of UFO phenomena being linked to End Time events, including the Rapture.
- Thomas Horn frequently wrote about the intersection of Christianity, UFOs and the End Times. His books “Exo-Vaticana” and “The Wormwood Prophecy” delve into these themes.
- L.A. Marzulli has written extensively on UFOs and their potential role in biblical prophecy. His “Nephilim Trilogy” and other works explore the idea of extraterrestrials being part of a larger spiritual deception.
- Patrick Heron – In “The Nephilim and the Pyramid of the Apocalypse,” Heron discusses the Nephilim נְפִילִים in relation to UFOs and the Rapture. The meaning of the word is debated but some possible translations include “giants” or “the fallen ones.” “Nephilim” may come from the Hebrew word naphal, meaning “to fall.”
- David Allen Lewis – His book “UFO: End-Time Delusion” examined the UFO phenomenon in light of biblical prophecy, suggesting that it might be part of a deception related to the End Times.
- Joe Jordan and Guy Malone are known for their work with MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) and have written and spoken about the spiritual aspects of UFO experiences, sometimes linking them to the Rapture or demonic activity.
These authors blend interpretations of scripture with modern phenomena, often proposing that UFO sightings and abductions could be misinterpretations or covers for spiritual or divine events, including the Rapture when believers are suddenly caught up to meet the Lord in the air as prophesied in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.
So now we have four highly credentialed men testifying to Congress that UFOs are real and that the USA possesses non-human technology. Congress heard claims of secret UAP crash programs and multiple descriptions of alien craft. An 11-page alleged whistleblower report made claims about secret UFO programs and descriptions of encounters with “organic” craft.
The long-awaited hearing promised to “pull back the curtain” on UFOs featuring testimony from Dr Tim Gallaudet, a retired Rear Admiral in the US Navy, former Department of Defense official Luis Elizondo, former NASA administrator Michael Gold and independent journalist Michael Shellenberger. Much of the testimony was rehashed from previous public claims, including those made by Elizondo in his August memoir about his role in a Pentagon UFO program.
“This hearing is intended to help Congress and the American people to learn the extent of the programs and activities our government has engaged in with respect to UAPs and what knowledge it has yielded,” Republican co-chair Nancy Mace said in her opening statement. “Taxpayers deserve to know how much has been spent. They shouldn’t be kept in the dark to spare the Pentagon a little bit of embarrassment.”
An 11-page alleged whistleblower report described various types of UAP evidencebeing illegally withheld from Congress, including a supposed unacknowledged special access program called “Immaculate Constellation” collecting military intelligence on UAPs.
The document describes a number of alleged encounters or observations of UAPs. Spheres or orbs were the most reported shape, followed by discs or saucers, and oval-shaped craft called “Tic-Tacs.” There were also weird reports of sci-fi shapes such as a “floating brain” or “jellyfish” UAPs with a central mass from which multiple tentacles hang downward.
Those who testified called for an end to the stigmatization of UAP phenomena saying “we are not alone in the cosmos.” [Below, iStock image]
Indeed, all of this talk, of alien spacecraft and abductions could be deemed preparation to deceive the public in the future during the Great Tribulation.
