The Jewish mother of Jesus is worshipped all around the world, and there are countless idols and images of Mary in churches, roadside shrines and mountaintops, but the portrait of Mary in the New Testament is one of a Jewish worshipper of God. The world has greatly distorted Mary’s narrative but Jerusalem Channel presenter Christine Darg looks at the real Mary as revealed in her magnificent Magnificat.
Mary is not worshipped in Catholic world, she is our intercession and we ask her in our prayers to interceed on our behalf. The rosary, is not,prayers of worship, by sentences taken from the bible in praise our our lord Jesus.

Mary was just one of godly, faithful woman filled with the Holy Spirit, needed to believe in and receive Jesus as her Savior if she were to be saved. Why don’t you pray to or ask God in Jesus’ name when you pray? There can’t be given any other name but Jesus who died for us, and redeemed our sins for us to be saved…
