If ever the world needed a move of the Holy Spirit within the Islamic world, it’s now!

How refreshing to see in the news some brave Gazans marching against Hamas. But it is troubling that schools in the UK will require Islam to be taught to our young people.

Thankfully during the fasting month of Ramadan there is an annual event called “The Night of Power,” known as Laylat al-Qadr, when Muslims seek God for revelation and answers to prayer.

Many visions of Jesus have occurred as sincere seekers have fasted and prayed on the Night of Power, as I have chronicled in my book, “The Jesus Visions: Miracles Among Muslims.”

This year the Night of Power is expected to occur March 26 into the early morning of March 27, 2025. However, since the Islamic calendar depends on lunar sightings, these dates may shift slightly.

This night is considered the holiest night in Islam, described in the Quran as “better than a thousand months” (Surah Al-Qadr 97:3), implying that worship on this night carries rewards equivalent to years of devotion.

Muslims believe it’s a time when angels descend to earth, prayers are amplified, and destinies for the coming year are decreed by Allah.

“A people who have not known me will call upon me” is a quote specifically from Isaiah 65:1, signifying God’s willingness to reveal Himself and to be found by those who have not previously sought Him.

Unlike other nights during Ramadan, it’s not a celebration with festivities but a deeply spiritual occasion for intense prayer, Quran recitation, supplication, and seeking forgiveness, often through practices such as I’tikaf (seclusion in worship). The uncertainty of its exact date encourages sustained devotion throughout the last ten days of Ramadan for spiritual renewal and divine mercy.

During the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem’s daily Global Prayer Gathering via Zoom approximately 700 intercessors today prayed for authentic encounters with the real God of Israel and the Messiah Yeshua to happen on this night. Jason Hubbard of the International Prayer Connect ministry was a guest speaker, and we panelists went to the Throne of God to pray redemptive prayers of love for the Muslim people around the world. We prayed for a tsunami of the Holy Spirit to wash over the stronghold of Islam.

We also prayed for a change of heart in the churches because, as John 3:17 says, “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”

The entire world is groaning at this point as jihadists plot to take over Europe and U.S. university campuses and so forth, but the God of Israel has purposed that there be a great harvest of souls from within the household of Islam. The God of Israel promised Abraham that Ishmael should live and not die. (Genesis 17: 18- 20)

Pray with me during this strategic hour for captives to be set free, for the Saviour to be revealed through increasing dreams and visions, as I have chronicled in my book.

The salvation of Israel is tied to a harvest of souls from within Islam. We know that Yeshua must be retained in heaven until the restoration of all things (Acts 3: 21) and until the fullness of the gentiles is brought into the kingdom of God (Romans 11: 25).

There has yet to be a major harvest of souls from within the Jericho-like walls of Islam. For this we fervently pray and believe. For this we prepare in prayer the Isaiah 19 Highway.

Some Bible scholars believe the Antichrist will be a Muslim. Satan will give this tyrant his power (Revelation 13:2), enabling him to require that all men worship him.

This verse concerning the future Antichrist is important for study:
Daniel 11: 38 declares that “he will worship the god of forces, i.e., fortresses—a god his ancestors never knew. . . .”
The Douay-Rheims Bible renders this verse: “But he shall worship the god Maozim in his place: and a god whom his fathers knew not, he shall worship with gold, and silver, and precious stones, and things of great price.”

I prefer the rendering of the JPS Tanakh 1917, “But in his place shall he honour the god of strongholds. . . ..” This rendering is excellent because it mentions the world stronghold. Islam is a stronghold, but it’s not impregnable.

Never forget our authority in the Lord God Almighty as stated in 2 Corinthians 10:3-5,

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”
Amen and Amen!

On this Night of Power pray for genuine encounters with the Spirit of the Living God. Pray for mass deliverances! Pray for miracles!
