There is a cost of discipleship and faith action in the kingdom, but the glory awaiting us in eternity with the Lord surpasses any hardship in this lifetime.
We must determine to be resilient, to keep going, to do exploits, acts of faith, until the Lord calls us home.
While visiting a very special Arab couple who had two lovely daughters, I sensed that the Lord also wanted to give them a son, and I prophesied to them while anointing them with oil that God yet had a son waiting for them.
They smiled politely. As busy and modern parents, they didn’t necessarily want to take a chance on giving birth to a third daughter.
However, the wife did become pregnant again, and she DID bear a son!

When I prophesied their son, thoughts came to my mind that I was being presumptuous. The devil likes to insinuate that we are foolish to believe for blessings.
However, we must train ourselves to say regularly, “God honours my faith at all times!”
We pray for people to be healed and delivered either “up close and personal” or from a distance–it doesn’t matter.
The main concept to catch from the Lord is “only believe–” train yourself to adopt the faith attitude that “God honors my faith at all times.” Train yourself to believe, “Distance is not a problem to God!”
We pray for Israel, no doubt about it, but we also pray for the Arabs. Many believers in the churches have no idea that the Arabic people are hungry for miracles, and they are especially humble when receiving healing and prayer.
It’s wonderful that Jesus taught us by example to cast out demons and to pray for the sick either through the laying on of hands, anointing with oil or equally by speaking faith. We can speak a word of deliverance–in a conversation, in a prayer, on the telephone, in a letter, email, through the Internet.
“He sent forth his word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions.” (Psalm 107: 20)
Here are two great examples of healing by distance:
In Matthew 8: 8, 13, the centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. . . .Then Jesus said to the centurion, ‘Go! It will be done just as you believed it would.’ And his servant was healed at that very hour.”
In Matthew 15: 22, 26-28, a Canaanite woman came to Jesus, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is suffering terribly from demon-possession. . . . .He replied, ‘It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to their dogs.’ ‘Yes, Lord,’ she said, ‘but even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.’ Then Yeshua answered, ‘Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.’ And her daughter was healed from that very hour.”
A woman emailed me to say that her brother in Torquay, England, was in agonizing pain, unable to walk a few steps, and he could not sleep. She wrote, “I am besides myself with grief because I live in London and am not there to comfort him although he knows that I am praying. This illness has been going on for sometime and is caused by severe Sciatica ….He cannot stand or do such a simple thing as cut an orange in half because the pain is too intense.”
I emailed back: “I REBUKE this pain and sickness in the Name of Jesus who spoke the word and people were healed! As we do the SAME we believe that God honors our faith at all times. Say Amen! Send me a good report please! Christine.”
Later she answered, “PRAISE THE LORD, THANK YOU, JESUS, THANK YOU, JESUS, again and again. The Lord has answered all our prayers; thank you so much for praying for my brother. This morning at 8 a.m. he got out of bed and WALKED for the first time in weeks without a stick, no pain, did some washing up in the kitchen. . . . I am so enjoying your book, ‘Miracles Among Muslims.’ My faith has been uplifted and it is so wonderful how the Lord is drawing Muslims to the Light and salvation in Jesus Christ. I have ordered two books from Amazon and will send one to my brother.”
Thank you, compassionate LORD, that there is no distance in God! In YOU we move and live and have our being. Thank you for invading this man’s body with your power! Hallelu-Yah!
Thank you also for invading the body with your healing anointing of anybody reading this now who needs a powerful touch from You!
