The Bible declares that Jews living in gentile nations are in “captivity.”
God says in his Word that he will first send “many fishers” to fish the Jews out of the nations, but if they fail to respond to come home, then he will send “many hunters” to hunt them. (Jer. 16: 16)
As Paul observed in Romans 11:22, “Note then the kindness and the severity of God.”
While about 8 million Jews live in Israel today, a majority still remains in a self-imposed exile.
Yet since aliyah (immigration) is for God’s glory (Isa. 43:5-7), intercessors pray without ceasing for Jews who are sleeping in the “captivity” to wake up and return.
The resurgence of antisemitism, especially in the false comfort zones of the West, is causing many Jews to consider making aliyah to Israel. My prayer is they will escape the hunters.
Intercessors for Israel sends out a weekly prayer alert that often implores the Lord to draw Jews home along with their “silver and gold” (Isa. 60:9) while they are still capable of escaping from the hunters with all of their assets.
Here are some sample prayers from Intercessors for Israel:
God, let whole families and communities come home together (Ex. 12:37-38; Jer. 31:3-5).
King Messiah, draw home a huge tsunami of immigrants all at once, and let it wash away every man-made barrier in Israel which makes aliyah more difficult than it needs to be (Psa. 66:6; 98:8).
Lord Yeshua, reveal to Your Body [the true church] that aliyah is actually an answer to the 2,000-year-old prayer that Your name be sanctified by Your will being done on earth (Ezek. 28:25-26; Luke 11:2).
According to Open Source Intel, which monitors real time news and events on X, the following notice was given this week to the Jews of France and the United Kingdom:
“After reading the statements from your prime ministers today, it is time to confront a hard truth. The countries you call home are no longer what they once were. Safety is no longer a given and silence is no longer an option.
“France and the UK are now openly threatening the only Jewish state in the world, warning that if Israel continues defending itself against genocidal terrorists, it will face concrete actions. These are not neutral governments. They are siding with those who would love to see the Jewish nation destroyed.
“Instead of confronting the monsters who burn babies alive and use civilians as shields, they have chosen to pressure the one nation fighting for Jewish survival. This is not diplomacy. This is betrayal.
“And we all know where this leads. In a few years, Muslims will make up a massive portion of the population in both France and the UK. The writing is on the wall. We know what follows. Jewish history does not repeat itself. It screams when it is about to.
“Do not wait for the sirens. Do not wait for the mobs. Do not wait for the doors to be marked or the streets to turn.
“It is a bitter truth. But it is the truth. And it is better faced now than when it is too late.
“Choose your future. Before others choose it for you.”
As columnist Melanie Phillips pointed out this week, the “claim by Starmer, Macron and [Canada’s PM] Carney that Israel risks breaching international humanitarian law is another lie. The obligation under the 4th Geneva Convention to allow aid to an enemy civilian population is explicitly exempted if there is a risk that the aid will be diverted to enemy fighting forces — exactly as Hamas has been doing since the war began.”
As Honest Reporting points out, the World Food Programme says 94,000 tons of food can feed one million people for four months. During the January-March ceasefire, some 380,000 tons of food aid entered Gaza — enough to feed its 2.1 million people for eight months.
According to Prophecy News Watch, in a move that should alarm every Bible-believing Christian and supporter of Israel, world leaders will gather under the banners of France and Saudi Arabia this June to press forward with a plan that threatens the very survival of the Jewish state: the unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state.
Meanwhile, as we watched President Trump make deals in the Middle East that might benefit America, yet could be dangerous to Israel, Intercessors for Israel wondered whether their prayers were being answered: They have been praying that Israel would not put their trust in Trump or the US – but rather trust solely in God alone. No matter how much of a friend Trump is, no man is to be trusted above the Almighty.
Messiah Yeshua, wake up believers, especially in the West, to warn their leaders not to curse Israel, but to be a true friend during its restoration (Num. 24:9b; Isa. 60:12; Zech. 12:9).
Donald Trump rules America momentarily largely by executive orders. That will be the style of King Messiah when he returns. He will rule by executive orders and with a rod of iron. HalleluYah!
