1. Praise:

    Shabbat’s prophetic reading reveals how precious the fear of God in the lives of His saints is to Him. Unfortunately this truth is seldom heard in believing circles today.

    • Thank You Lord for reminding us that one evidence of having Your fear in our lives is how we often speak about You to one another (Mal. 3:16-17).
    • We bless You for the healing, maturity and the victory over the wicked that are promised to those who fear Your name (Mal. 4:2-3).
    • We praise You that a biblical fear of You, our Lord and God, brings with it wisdom and the hatred of evil, of pride and of arrogant speaking (Psa. 97:10; Prov. 8:13; 9:10).
    • We bless You that although You are high and holy (Isa. 57:15), You invite us to come boldly to the throne of grace through Messiah Yeshua (Hebrews 4:16).
    • We thank You for often making beauty from ashes and order from chaos (Gen. 1:2-3; Isa. 61:3).
    • Lord Yeshua, how amazing to realize that the vision John saw of You in Revelation 1:13-16 is an accurate vision of who You are today.
  2. Government & society:

    PM Bibi Netanyahu returned earlier this week from visiting Hungary and then the US to meet with President Trump. Although his trial was put on hold, yet three hours after he landed he was in court. Now “Qatar-gate” and other accusations are being spewed at him and the current government. Still Israel’s coalition is stable and is proceeding with the war in Gaza against Hamas with vigor, as well as quietly expanding Israel’s control over more of Judea and Samaria. So there is a lot to give thanks for and a lot more to pray about.

    • Precious King of Israel, use Israel’s current governing coalition for Your glory and reveal to them the need to humble themselves before You (Psa. 115:1-3; Prov. 29:23).
    • Thank You Lord that in the internal upheaval and confusion resulting from Qatar-gate and the firing of Ronen Bar, Shin Bet’s [Israel’s internal security] chief, we see You removing “the sons of Greece” and replacing them with “the sons of Zion” (Zech. 9:13). More, Lord!
    • Lord God, watch over Isaiah 1:24-27 and use the government’s push for judicial reform to fulfill it.
    • King Yeshua, expose and break the control that allows the Supreme Court to think that as unelected judges they can override the democratically elected government (Deut. 16:18; Job 20:27).
    • We praise You God for hearing our prayers for Netanyahu as notwithstanding all he has faced since Oct. 7th 2023, he still sees clearly and has the needed authority to lead Your nation (Psa. 18:2; 27:1-6).
    • Lord, surround him with godly advisors and let him heed what they say (Prov. 11:14; 24:6).
    • Abba Father, teach Netanyahu to encourage himself in You and Your Word (1 Sam. 30:6).
    • Thank You for the excellent job Defense Minister Israel Katz is doing and we ask You to protect his good relationships with Bibi and the IDF Chief of Staff, Eyal Zamir (Prov. 8:7; Eccl. 4:12).
    • Lord God, it is often tougher on soldiers’ families who stay at home than the soldiers fighting, so please send comfort, hope and encouragement to their spouses and children (Psa. 119:81, 116; 130:7).
    • Pour out, like a flood, Your truth and clarity upon Israeli society to counter Hamas’ lies (Isa. 59:19).
    • Abba Father, heal the released hostages completely – and save them (Psa. 103:2-6; Jer. 17:14).
    • Almighty Comforter, bring comfort and closure to every family who has received back the dead bodies of their loved ones, especially during the upcoming Passover season (Psa. 23:4).
    • Protect Your nation from the often demonically influenced power of social media (Deut. 33:29).
    • Abba Father, raise up many more sons and daughters of Zion to be influencers on social media.
    • Lord God, we bless You for maintaining Israel’s economy during its conflicts (Psa. 132:13-15).
  3. “Operation Strength & Sword:”

    Israel is aggressively attacking Hamas in Gaza. Yet we are concerned to hear many Israeli officials say that the primary goal is to pressure Hamas to release the hostages as opposed to perceiving that God desires Hamas/Amalek to be destroyed (1 Sam. 15:2-3).

    • God Almighty, since it seems that much of the world has forgotten what Hamas did on Oct. 7th, we pray that You would remember and remove its rule over Gaza (Psa. 34:6; Amos 1:6-7).
    • God of Israel, change Israel’s strategy so that it takes land in Gaza and holds onto it (2 Sam. 5:9).
    • Lord, deliver this territory from demonic spirits and cleanse the land (Num. 35:33; Psa. 10:16).
    • Lord God, hasten the settling of shepherds and a remnant of Judah in Gaza (Zeph. 2:6-7).
    • Abba Father, show Israel that destroying Hamas will make future hostage-taking less likely.
    • Almighty One, as You often did in biblical days, we ask that You would rescue all the remaining hostages and remove them as human shields for Hamas today (1 Sam. 30:18-19; Isa. 49:24-26).
    • Lord God, renew the spirit and motivation of the young soldiers of the IDF (2 Chr. 15:7; Psa. 103:5).
    • As per the prophetic portion, use the IDF, as Your weapon of war, to trample the wicked (Mal. 4:3).
    • Lord of hosts, let Hamas’ pride and hatred of Israel be their downfall (Prov. 16:18; Obad. 1:3-4, 8).
    • Lord God, watch over Psa. 46:8-9 and destroy all of Hamas’ weapons before the war ceases.
    • King Messiah, grant Your wisdom to Israel to continue facilitating the voluntary exit of Palestinians from Gaza – and may most of them take advantage and emigrate (Isa. 60:12; Jer. 12:17).
  4. Foreign relations:

    Once again President Trump has taken center stage – this time by placing tariffs on most nations that trade with America. Now there is a 90 day pause to enable negotiations between the US and other nations concerning this, yet Israel needs God’s wisdom in dealing with this American President. Actually, it needs His wisdom in dealing with all the nations and NGOs.

    • King of all nations, may Your foreign policy be done on earth as it is in heaven, and continue to use Israel to facilitate that to come to fulfillment (Deut. 28:9-10, 13; Psa. 9:19-20; 33:10-11; Luke 11:2).
    • Abba, again we ask You to show Westerners, especially their leaders, that most Arabs and Iranians do not view life like those who were raised on a biblical foundation do (1 Cor. 15:41).
    • God of Israel, grant courage to Israel’s leaders to reject all external pressures or demands which are out of line with Your will for Your nation today (Neh. 2:20; Prov. 3:7).
    • Guide Bibi clearly on how to navigate Israel’s relations with America today (Psa. 23:3b; Isa. 30:21).
    • Lord God Almighty, empower the pro-Israel ministers in Trump’s administration to warn him of the danger for both America and himself if he treats Israel like any other nation (Deut. 7:6-8; Psa. 33:12).
    • Abba Father, protect Israel’s economy and regardless of the outcome of negotiations between Israel and America, do not allow the new US tariffs to impact Your nation negatively, but instead once again multiply the “loaves and fishes” to the amazement of many (Ezek. 36:8-12; Matt. 14:19).
    • God, eventually turn Israel away from trusting in the US (Psa. 118:8-9; Isa. 30:1).
    • Lord God of Israel, turn the curses against Your people today coming from nations, global NGOs, and most of the mainstream media, into blessings because of Your love for them (Deut. 23:5; 33:3).
    • King of Israel, stretch out Your scepter of authority over the UN and those of its outreaches who frequently curse Israel and silence them (Jer. 10:25; 30:20; Zech. 2:13; Matt. 28:18).
    • God, continue to use and protect Israel’s UN Ambassador Danny Danon as he rebukes the lies and blasphemies about Your nation which are spoken in that place (Psa. 81:10; 119:13).
    • Messiah Yeshua, stir up believers to warn their birth-nations of Your judgments falling upon many of those countries today as a result of their betrayal of Israel (Ezek. 29:6-7; Joel 3:1-2).
  5. Internal security:

    Israel needs to extend its sovereignty over much more of its land in 2025 (Isa. 54:2-3; Jer. 32:41-44). Not only will this bring an increase of security for all Israelis, but more importantly, this will bring Israel in line with what God is doing with all of His heart and soul today (Jer. 32:41), and that will bring more of His blessings on His nation.

    • Lord God, lead Israel to possess more of its land today as You who own the land (Lev. 25:23; Ezek. 36:5) have gifted it to them – for Your holy name’s sake (Psa. 105:7-11).
    • Abba, reveal to many more Israelis that possessing the land is a biblical command which should not depend on what any other nation, NGO or world leader says (Deut. 7:1-5; Judg. 2:1-4; Psa. 105:5-11).
    • Lord, show believers that praying for this is not for political but prophetic reasons, so that You will be glorified when many see You fulfilling Your prophetic promises (Ezek. 36:34-36; 37:14).
    • Messiah Yeshua, anoint US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee to share with many Israelis the commandments from Your Word for Israel to possess its possessions (Psa. 126:1-3; Obad. 1:17-20).
    • Lord, may now be the time for Israel to extend sovereignty over the Jordan Valley (Josh. 18:3).
    • Abba Father, fulfill what You said in Exodus of warring with Israel against its enemies in the land: release Your fear to go forth with its security forces (23:27); send hornets after Your foes (23:28); drive out Israel’s enemies (23:30); and increase its land to be in line with Your vision of what the Promised Land should encompass (23:31-33).
    • God of Israel, like David battling Goliath, anoint the IDF to go forth in Your name and with Your authority and power against all terrorists anywhere in Judea and Samaria (1 Sam. 17:37).
    • Lord of hosts, let Israel take advantage of the world focusing on the restarting of the war against Hamas to intensify its offensive actions against these internal terrorist groups (Jer. 51:20-23).
    • Abba Father, keep the security guards at the checkpoints and at all other posts, alert and increase their ability to spot abnormal behavior (Gen. 31:1-2).
    • Protect all those who travel on Israeli roads and wait at bus stops during Passover (Psa. 121:8).
    • Lord, save many Palestinians and use them to provoke Jews to jealousy (Matt. 5:44; Rom. 11:11).
  6. External security – Middle East [ME]:

    Trump has threatened to attack Iran militarily if it does not make a deal with the US concerning its nuclear program. He also said that Israel would take the lead in any attack. Meanwhile, Israel destroyed three Syrian airfields left over from the Assad regime in order to prevent Turkey from using them as military bases on Israel’s borders.

    • Lord God of hosts, we ask for Your plan for Iran to be the only one that is fulfilled (Psa. 33:10).
    • All-wise God, give wisdom to Israel on what it needs to do regardless of the outcome of the US-Iran negotiations which are supposed to start tomorrow in Oman (Prov. 8:14-16; 19:20; 21:30-31).
    • Warn Trump that any “deal” with Iran’s current leaders is useless as the Islamic tactic of taqiyya, lying to help Allah gain a victory, makes whatever they say at best unreliable (Prov. 26:24-26).
    • Cause many Muslims to seriously question why they even need to “help” Allah (Psa. 115:5-7)?
    • Lord, let the curses Iran’s leaders have proclaimed against Israel boomerang upon them (Gal. 6:7).
    • God Almighty, sovereignly destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities (Psa. 54:5; 137:8; Isa. 34:8), or if You want to use the IDF, guide its timing and tactics to be very effective (Prov. 21:31; Jer. 51:20-25).
    • Abba Father, be merciful to the Iranians and “destroy” Iran’s current king and princes (Jer. 49:38b).
    • Lord God, help Israel’s leaders to fully recognize Qatar as an enemy state (Psa. 55:21).
    • God, expose all anti-Israel plans of Turkey’s anti-Christ-like leader Erdogan (Prov. 5:21; Jer. 32:19).
    • Abba, let Erdogan’s curses against Israel and Bibi fall back on his head (Num. 24:9b; Gal. 6:7).
    • Lord Yeshua, reveal the true nature and plans of Turkey in Syria to Israel (Job 12:22)
    • God of hosts, continue to lead Israel to be pre-emptive against those plans (Psa. 7:6; 17:13).
    • Sovereign Lord, let Western and NATO leaders truly see Turkey President Erdogan’s evil Islamic schemes and turn from providing him any help whatsoever (Psa. 10:4; 105:4-5; Prov. 15:26a).
    • Lord God, give Israel discernment in its relations with Egypt, and equip it with wisdom and courage to deal effectively with Egypt’s recent breaches of the peace accord (Judg. 11:12-27; Ezek. 29:6).
  7. Aliyah:

    We are a blessed generation to witness the return of the Jews to the Promised Land (Jer. 31:10). Yet we have a great responsibility as well as God orders His Body to be deeply involved with this prophetic fulfillment (for example Isaiah 49:22).

    • Lord God Almighty, we rejoice to be Your witnesses as You gather Your people back home – in line with Your prophetic promises (Jer. 30:8-10; Zech. 8:1-8).
    • God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, as Your people end the Passover Seders tomorrow by declaring, “Next year in Jerusalem,” convict them to actually do it this year (Jer. 50:4-5).
    • Lord Messiah, caution Messianic Jews living in exile that if they say “Next year in Jerusalem,” and do not actually mean it, You state that this is “evil” (Matt. 5:37).
    • Teach Your people the lesson of history that when Jews lived in gentile nations, a time would come when those nations could not, or would not protect them (Deut. 28:37, 64-67; Psa. 137:3-4).
    • Abba Father, remove from Jews the nice-sounding name of where they reside: “the diaspora” [Gk. “scattering”], and insert instead the biblical term: “captivity” (Deut. 30:3; Ezra 2:1; Psa. 126:1-4).
    • Lord, rid Your people of their vain hopes for life to return to a pre-Oct. 7th “normal,” as the growth of anti-Semitism will likely continue until Your return (Deut. 30:3-5; Zech. 10:8-9; 12:2-3).
    • God of Israel, release Jews in Iran, India, Ethiopia, and South Africa to return home (Isa. 43:5-7).
    • Gracious Father, draw Jews home today with their “silver and gold” with them (Isa. 60:9).
    • Show Jews who want to make aliyah where to obtain or find all the needed paperwork (Psa. 23:1-3).
    • Lord Yeshua, open the eyes of Your Body to understand that aliyah is an answer to a 2,000 year old prayer that Your name be sanctified by Your will being done on earth (Ezek. 28:25-26; Luke 11:2).
  8. Salvation:

    The Passover feast is full of types of Messiah Yeshua. Yet in the Haggadah, the retelling of the exodus from Egypt, the lamb – who is central to the original exodus story (Ex. 12:6, 11, 21, 27), is hardly mentioned. And obviously the Lamb is symbolic of Yeshua, the Lamb of God who takes away our sins (John 1:29, 36).

    • Lord, as You did with the two disciples in Luke 24:30-31, open the eyes of many Jews during the Passover Seder at the breaking of the unleavened bread – the matzah.
    • Give opportunity to any Messianic Jews or Christians who attend a Seder to explain how Yeshua has fulfilled the feast (Isa. 53:1-12; Acts 1:8).
    • Almighty Savior, impart a “holy dissatisfaction” into the minds and hearts of many Jews and turn them to read and study all of the Tanach – not just the Torah (Psa. 80:3, 7; Jer. 15:16; 2 Tim. 3:15).
    • Lord of the harvest, at this season, let there be a mighty increase of spiritual fruit from all the seeds planted and watered in Jewish lives by members in Your Body (1 Cor. 3:6-7).
    • Messiah Yeshua, appear in dreams and visions to many Jews at this time (Rev. 1:9-18).
    • [Ask God if there is a specific group of Jews He wants you to intercede for during Passover.]
  9. Body of Messiah:

    Messiah Yeshua will be enthroned on King David’s throne and will judge the nations from Jerusalem as Israel’s King Messiah on His return. This is the real reason why Satan is so enraged over Israel’s resurrection. But why is it that so many believers do not perceive this, and thus do not see what the spiritual battle over Israel is all about?

    • Abba Father, open the eyes of the Body to see that Israel’s modern restoration and its salvation is essential in Your preparation of Your Son’s glorious return (Zech. 12:2-10; Matt. 23:37-39; 24:30).
    • King of Israel, strip believers in this life from any shame or resistance to worship a Jewish Messiah before they are faced with the reality of having to do that throughout eternity (Rev. 5:5, 8-13).
    • Lord Yeshua, heal Your Body of the curse of generational anti-Semitism (Num. 14:18b; Jer. 17:14).
    • Messiah Yeshua, show the Body that the only Word of God You had, read and trusted in during Your sojourn on earth was the Old Testament – the Tanach (Luke 24:44; John 5:46; 2 Tim. 3:15-17).
    • Lord God, gift Your Body with elders who teach and preach from all of the Word, (Acts 20:27), and who openly declare Your eternal love for, and covenant with, Israel (Deut. 7:6-8; Jer. 31:35-37).
    • Abba, as Israel is the pupil of Your eye, let believers see the full repercussions of this, which is that You view the world through the lens of Israel (Zech. 2:8b)!
    • Teach Your Body the necessity of interceding for their nation’s governments – including those which are anti-biblical, anti-Christ and anti-Israel (2 Tim. 2:1-4).
  10. Water:

    The forecast is for days of light rain over the Passover week. Please pray for this to be accurate as that would be a huge blessing from the Lord.
