Question of the hour: How close are we to the Gog Magog War of Ezekiel Chapters 38 and 39?

Why has the jihadist Islamic government occupying Iran been obsessed with the destruction of Israel?
Satan himself is desperate to wipe out Jerusalem and Israel in order to prevent the prophesied return of Jesus, Yeshua, to rule this planet.
Along with many eschatologists such as Chuck Missler of blessed memory, I’ve been producing videos and articles for a number of years about the extraordinarily detailed chapters of Ezekiel that describe an invasion of regathered Israel in the Last Days.
Those nations are in alignment now.
Bible prophecy does have a sell-by date that, of course, only God himself knows.
Among the coalition of invaders, Persia (Iran) is named.
Apparently Persia resorts to invasion because it has been disarmed of nuclear capability.
A lot of eschatologists are saying Israel’s current response to prevent a nuclear Iran is only the beginning of the Gog Magog scenario….. as if the Ezekiel War is still a long way off.
However, IF the Islamic regime collapses and IF the son of the Shah of Iran, the Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, returns to power, Persia will no longer be rabid to attack Israel. Pahlavi is an ally of Israel. He and his wife have visited Yad Vashem and the Western Wall. His father and nation were an ally of Israel.

Since his father was deposed in 1979, Pahlavi is waiting in the wings to set up a transition government in Tehran. Therefore it seems that the Ezekiel War would have to take place imminently while the mullahs are weakened but still somewhat in control.
Richard Honorof, a prophetic brother who lives in Jerusalem, just sent out an article stating, “If any nation attacks Iran and takes out the Iranian nuclear facilities, which Israel has now been doing since last Friday morning, June 13th, then this will almost immediately bring on the Gog Magog War of Ezekiel 38, 39. For Iran has close allied nations who are in heavy-duty War Covenant Packs with Iran. If Iran’s nuclear facilities are attacked by any nation or nations, then those nations which are in War covenant treaties with Iran have sworn to join Iran in major retaliation against that nation or those nations.”
Let’s take a moment to examine the biblical text:
The Lord’s Great Victory Over the Nations
38 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of[a] Meshek and Tubal; prophesy against him 3 and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshek and Tubal. 4 I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. 5 Persia, Ethiopia and Libya will be with them, all with shields and helmets, 6 also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you.
7 “‘Get ready; be prepared, you and all the hordes gathered about you, and take command of them. 8 After many days you will be called to arms. In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. They had been brought out from the nations, and now all of them live in safety. 9 You and all your troops and the many nations with you will go up, advancing like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land.
10 “‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: On that day thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil scheme. 11 You will say, “I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people—all of them living without walls and without gates and bars. 12 I will plunder and loot and turn my hand against the resettled ruins and the people gathered from the nations, rich in livestock and goods, living at the center of the land.” 13 Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all her villages[e] will say to you, “Have you come to plunder? Have you gathered your hordes to loot, to carry off silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods and to seize much plunder?”’
14 “Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: In that day, when my people Israel are living in safety, will you not take notice of it? 15 You will come from your place in the far north, you and many nations with you, all of them riding on horses, a great horde, a mighty army. 16 You will advance against my people Israel like a cloud that covers the land. In days to come, Gog, I will bring you against my land, so that the nations may know me when I am proved holy through you before their eyes.
17 “‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: You are the one I spoke of in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel. At that time they prophesied for years that I would bring you against them. 18 This is what will happen in that day: When Gog attacks the land of Israel, my hot anger will be aroused, declares the Sovereign Lord. 19 In my zeal and fiery wrath I declare that at that time there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. 20 The fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the people on the face of the earth will tremble at my presence. The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground. 21 I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Sovereign Lord. Every man’s sword will be against his brother. 22 I will execute judgment on him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him. 23 And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.’
The next chapter, Ezekiel 39, continues the narrative in chronological order. The previous chapter, Ezekiel 37, describes the resurrection of the nation of Israel stage-by-stage.
The new geopolitical change with Iran’s nuclear power being destroyed certainly brings the prophesied Ezekiel 38 – 39 Gog Magog War much closer.
Richard Honorof asked, “So to me the real question is, ‘Lord Yeshua, how many days or weeks does Israel really havenow before this retaliatory attack comes from all those nations joined together with Iran against Israel?’ For there is a major retaliatory strike coming by this group of enemy nations formed right now against Israel, which God had prophesied about in Scripture, called the Gog Magog War, clearly described in Ezekiel 38- 39.”
Please note that the God of Israel also prophesied about Iranian weaponry being broken in Jeremiah 49:35-37,
“Thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘Behold, I will break the bow of Elam [an ancient name for territory within Persia/Iran], the foremost of their might. Against Elam I will bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and scatter them toward all those winds; there shall be no nations where the outcasts of Elam will not go. For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies and before those who seek their life. I will bring disaster upon them, My fierce anger,’ says the LORD; ‘And I will send the sword after them until I have consumed them.”
Good News is that Persia IS a Bible land and God has made an extraordinary promise in the next verse, in Jeremiah 49:38, to set his throne in Elam. Revival is coming to former Iran!
“I will set my throne in Elam and destroy their king and officials, declares the Lord.”
Elam was located in what is now southwestern Iran, east of Babylon. It was known for its military strength and influence.
The phrase “I will set my throne in Elam” symbolizes God’s sovereign authority and judgment over the nation. It indicates that God will establish His rule, execute justice, and demonstrate His power by humbling Elam’s leadership. Commentators say that this verse is not about God literally placing a physical throne in Elam but rather about His divine intervention and supremacy over the nations, bringing them under His judgment and submission. HalleluYah!

(See Esther 8:9) And where did this event happen? In Persia, modern-day Iran. The 23rd of Sivan begins this year at nightfall on Wednesday June 18.
Meanwhile Huckabee the Maccabee wrote this touching text:
