Defending the Biblical standard of godly women, Christine Darg says the Proverbs 31 woman of God can never imitate the women in the world. The chapter is recited on Friday night before the sabbath dinner in observant Jewish homes. The word חיל (Chayil) is translated in the King James Bible as “virtuous” and appears in verses 10 and 29, but many scholars suggest that the Hebrew word more accurately means forceful, powerful, mighty, or valiant, because this word is almost exclusively used in the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) with reference to warfare.
The world has enough tough, coarse women; what the world needs is more refined but powerful women who speak and live the law of kindness!
Short and to the point. We are not to be confirmed to this world but to be transformed. Being strong in Christ as a women of God is powerful in itself.
