Christine Darg interviews Oxford Bible Church pastor and author Derek Walker about the Rapture of the Church, “Our Blessed Hope,” and Derek answers questions concerning the pre-Tribulation viewpoint and the mark of the beast. This interview is in lieu of a conference in Hereford, England, that was planned before the coronavirus shutdown.
Very nice video and I believe in JESUS CHRIST and the holy spirit and the almighty father and am excitedly waiting and praying for the 2nd coming. My biggest fear though is that I am living with a man who believes but seems to ignore my desire to be married, and that I will be left behind because I am a widow of 13 years and living with a man who has not been reborn or is committed to prayer or listening to the words of OUR lord. Can you please give me some insight on how to talk to this man and help him to either see or advice or whether or not I should find hope somewhere else. His mother was a Christian woman and it’s not that he dont believe or want to be with me, he was married twice before and just doesnt want to go through all that again. I swore I’d never marry again but love this man and havent liked being alone or without a partner. My husband died at a young age and we were married for 13 yrs. He passed at age 41. I would appreciate any insight you can give me. Thank you, and pray for me!
1 Corinthians 6:9 has your answer. I’m so sorry for your situation. Jesus loves you and wants to be first in your life.
HI let me ask this you are living together as man and wife ? is he the one you truly want or are your lives very different? Is god in your life his teachings his covenant important to you?
What does it state about man of woman and woman of man being one in and married ? To follow by example is important for yourself and others. To walk in gods name and in the foot steps of Jesus is important. Before I came to God and Christ I too had relations outside of marriage but since finding the truth and knowing the laws of god and HIS kingdom his covenant I would never return to that way of life again. thankfully I found someone also feeling the same way . In god we walk together . Maybe you can get him to turn to god plant the seeds needed get him to read scripture together . pray together . hope this helps a little xx A
I have just now seen your question, and I agree with what Arlene wrote. Please look up that verse 1 Corinthians 6:9. These are dangerous days and we must stay right with God at all times. I am praying for you and believe the Lord will help you.
What a joyous message! Thank you both! Isn’t it so true that what we worry about does not happen 90% of the time anyway? We see the writing on wall here with this pandemic but thank you for pointing out it is “the beginnings” (Matthew 24:8). I was getting too negative for my own good. Wow how useless I felt. I do see what Derek sees coming down the pike though. That nice lil’ chip in exchange for travel. As an American Christian that offends the core of my being. But there other options I suppose. Philip got around alright!
Hi , Ive just listened to Derek`s talk and he gave a referance for Christians to be delivered from the wrath of God in Luke24 v 26 . On looking it up i don`t seem to read that that verse equaites with the wrath of God .
Have i read it wrong or is it not the correct verse .??
There is one in 1 Thessalonians 1 v 10 was this the one Derek was thinking of ??
1 Thessalonians 1 v 10 definitely mentions being delivered from the wrath to come.
