It seems all the more appropriate to these times when daily more inequalities are reported
and exposed concerning former and continuing proliferation of slavery, economic injustice,
gender and class discrimination, and political division that someone has so poignantly and
so aptly remembered both the authoress and the divine inspiration of Uncle Tom’s Cabin.
